I needed bilateral inguinal hernia repair, one of which was a revision of one done 15 years ago which failed almost immediately because the general surgeon used a mesh plug. It progressively got worse, so I sought out a hernia specialist and found Dr. Reinhorn. He repaired both hernias at the same time using just local anesthesia. I live a nearly four hour drive from Boston, yet on the drive home, I was awake, alert, talking and eating. I only needed Tylenol and Motrin for about two days. I am very pleased with the outcome.
