I am just a little over a month out of my hernia operation with Dr. Reinhorn, and I cannot say enough great things about him, the staff at Boston Hernia, as well as the medical staff and anesthesiologist at Newton Wellesley Hospital where I had my double hernia repaired. Dr. Reinhorn is not only a phenomenal and gifted surgeon, he is also a gentleman and is compassionate and empathetic. He took the time to answer all of my questions and reassured me that everything should be straightforward. I talked to many friends who had hernia operations at other hospitals with other surgeons, and they all warned me that I would need “at least a week off” from work afterwards and that I would be in excruciating pain. Dr. Reinhard told me that he performs hernia operations in a slightly different way that minimizes the discomfort afterwards- and he was 100% correct! I was actually ready to go back to work the next day, but I took it easy for the next few days anyway since I had already planned on taking the time off. But I had virtually no pain or discomfort at all. Everything has healed beautifully, and Dr. Reinhorn and followed up with me to be sure everything went well. I then went back to all of my other friends and told them that if they ever need another hernia surgery they should drop where they went to previously and go to Dr. Reinhorn instead.
