I am an active 69 year old male. In November, 2013 I had an inguinal hernia on my left side repaired by a traditional doctor using the traditional methods. Although I was told that I would be able to resume all my normal activities in “three to four weeks”, after the operation I was told all I could to was “walk, talk, eat, and sleep” for eight to ten weeks. Very, very frustrating. In October, 2015 I had an inguinal hernia repaired by Dr. Reinhorn. After the operation I was immediately aware of how much better I felt then after the initial hernia. Pain was significantly reduced; I only took a couple of Tylenols the first day, that was it. I started gently walking the second day, gradually ramped up my exercises after two weeks, and three and a half weeks later I was back to all my normal physical activities. I highly recommend Dr. Reinhorn and his surgical method. It reduces down time and pain when compared to the traditional surgical technique. Dr. Reinhorn is candid and straight forward in his dealings with his patients and his skills are excellent. Note: The reason it took me so long to post this review is that I had trouble with the vitals website.
